Beautiful Cartoonist Sketch Cards by Katie Cook

A sketch cards is a trading-card sized piece of original art usually measuring 65mm x 90mm and has been randomly inserted into various trading card sets since the 1990s.The insert has been most common in non-sport trading card sets like Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Scooby Doo.

Next, I’d like to introduce one of the successful illustrators for sketch card, that is Katie Cook, a female artist from United States. She was keen on comic since pre-school, and wanted to be a cartoonist then. In 2004, she graduated from the College for Creative Studies with a BFA in illustration. Then she does licensed work for DC, Marvel, Star Wars, HEROES, Lord of the Rings, and more. Katie Cook’s famous sketch card works includes Rittenhouse Wolverine Origins, Rittenhouse X-Men, TOPPS Star Wars Galaxies, TOPPS NBC’s HEROES Season 2 and much more others. Let’s have a view on them.
