She decided to adopt him when she couldn\u2019t part ways after the end of filming. While she did not end up taking the dog home, she stayed in touch with the dog she formed a strong bond with on set.<\/p>\n Playing the intrepid ranger in Lord of the Rings<\/em> and brave rider in Hidalgo<\/em>, Mortenson bonded so closely with horses on set that he adopted more than one of them. Those are some lucky horses!<\/p>\n A true eccentric, Downey is also an avid animal lover. While filming the comedy Due Date<\/em>, he fell in love with the Frenchie in the movie. However, he was not able to bring it home as its trainer insisted on keeping him.<\/p>\n A well-known character in the acting community during her day, Katharine Hepburn at one point shared the stage with a special leopard. Truly a man\u2019s best friend!<\/p>\n One of the best-known American actors, Tom Hanks starred in a dark comedy called The \u2018Burbs<\/em> a with a big \u2018ol slobbering Mastiff. We hope the love was able to continue after the finish of the movie.<\/p>\n A recent film gave Brendan Fraser more than another view on-screen. Fraser ended up taking the horse home to his ranch and they are living happily ever after.<\/p>\n In the movie Keanu<\/em>, Tiffany played a cat lady on-screen. As it turns out, one of her feline friends got to go home with her. That\u2019s one lucky kitty!<\/p>\n While starring in Beginners<\/em>, Ewan McGregor fell in love with Cosmo, his furry costar. Unfortunately, his wife is allergic to dogs so they were forced to part ways after filming.<\/p>\n Probably best known for his role in Married…With Children<\/em>, he also starred in Modern Family<\/em> as dog lover and bulldog owner.
