Birdie has been loving life at Amanda’s house and she has been happier than she has been in a long time.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cBirdie is a very sociable and playful dog,\u201d Amanda told The Dodo. \u201cShe lives with me and my three other dogs and she also does well around my 3-year-old nieces.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cShe loves chew toys and has a strong jaw and will chew through toys very fast<\/em>,\u201d Amanda added. \u201cIf she isn\u2019t play-wrestling with my other pit bull, she is laying by my side.\u00a0She is what I like to call a \u2018velcro dog\u2019 who does not like to be away from her humans<\/em>.”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For now, Birdie is enjoying life in her new foster home until Regina is able to find her a forever home. “She will be a great pet for a family<\/em>,” Amanda stated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Is there anything sadder than an abandoned dog at the animal shelter?
