A indigen of St Paul called Lorenzo Castellini creates the project “art.lies”. His intention is to use the city as a backdrop to create collages, praising the surrealism and making the people laugh. This is how the project shows great works.

Through using cutouts of Bosch paintings, the work is made of several elements using distance and different backgrounds, where there is no contact between the elements, but the work often creates a comic-surreal effect. Lorenzo thinks the city is made by people, so he decides to make people and the concrete jungle where they are living in interacted.

Lorenzo says he is already planning to travel the world and make collages where to go. Wish him good luck!
