kendra2Latvian designer and artist Aniko Kolesnikova, working under the name Mandarin Duck, dedicates herself to use polymer clay to create fantastic jewelry, journals and jewelry box designs.
In her exquisite nature-themed polymer works, she gives life to creatures with aesthetics. Almost every piece of her hand-made works has its own story to tell. Let alone the jewelry and the jewelry box designs, just the elaborate book covers make bookbinding a fashion in her hands.
People often say it’s what’s inside a book that counts, and not to judge books by their covers. But in the case of the handcrafted polymer works-journals by Aniko Kolesnikova, it’s just OK to fall in love with the outer appearance, the book covers.
