About the Giveaway Contest

MOO is a printing company that dreams up new tools that help people turn their virtual content into beautiful print products for the real world. Designers have a lot of content online and MOO provides the chance to take it offline and hold it in our hands. To put it in our pockets, and hand it out to friends or clients.

Would you like to create a Portfolio in your Pocket for yourself? Simply choose up to 50 different images to display on your Business Cards. You can use design works from your portfolio to print on to each card. And then, you can choose the ‘MOO Classic’ paper or go eco friendly, with recycled ‘Green’ card stock. Every pack of fifty cards is delivered in a free holder designed by MOO as well.

MOO is giving away 5 FREE packs of 50 Business Cards (worth $21.99 + standard shipping) to our readers. To get a chance winning the free pack of 50 Business Cards, you can simply leave a comment and tell us “How would you use MOO to create a Portfolio in your Pocket?”. We will announce the winners on 19th August 2009. Thank you for all participates. Thank you for all of the participants.

I would divide the backs of the cards into web pieces for client interviews, and illustrated, colorful pieces to use as guerilla promotion on the streets!

I would break one of my original photos into small mini cards and create a “puzzle” and present it as a portfolio piece and then take out a card as a leave-behind. Trust me, this is genius, I should win.

I would love to be able to put some of my photography and artwork on business cards not necessarily to try and get people interested in me or my work but so that I could remind myself, whenever I wanted, of some of the places I’ve been, people I’ve met, and the stuff I’ve done.

Dealing with UX, each card would show an A/B test with performance results. What better way to sell your services than with real-world numbers?

It would be great to showcase my talent on each of the cards. I created different versions of myself in vector format that would translate greatly over 50 cards! It costs alot just to get 1 card printed nicely so why not try 50 for cheap!

i would print out different categories on the cards (web design, graphic design, logo design, etc) and when a client asks for a specific example, i would then give them the right card :)

OMG what a great offer full of so much potential, I really have too many ideas for the cards!
Would love to use the recycled cards, have a cut here and fold there instructions on them to make a bunnie (origami business card) to tie in with release with my new website!

I would like the best (and at the same time eco friendly) print for my business cards. The beautiful idea (design) along with the great print gives the best pleasure for the consumer!

I would use the Moo Business Cards to test whether they are suitable or not to use as printers to print a deck of creative cards that I’m planning on putting together with many other popular designers! ;)

Moo Cards take up a lot less space than my farm animals do– far more portable and quiet! I will use one card per animal and be able to bring an entire pasture full of grazing animals to my clients, and we can “build” the farm, one animal at a time.

I would use MOO to show off my work to others.. give them a card to remamber by and hope it gets passed along so many people can see it.

I would also use an creative collage idea using the cards.

Create a website layout by using the cards.

A stop motion video with the cards, starting from early work to most recent.

I would use the MOO cards as business cards. Each one would have a render of my architecture projects.
When I send portfolios for some architecture studios, I could attach one MOO card at the front of portfolio with a great render (with contact information on back), to catch the eye! :)

Unique offer really! To stand out nowadays you must make sure to be remarkable. And for sure these will help me achieving that, while I’m setting up a business making personal art for consumers based on their ordinary family or holiday pictures. For sure this will put me in the picture!

Keep up the excellent ideas meanwhile! Best regards, Robbert

I’d like to have the front as a great tip for everyone about how to make the internet better? E.g. what question is your webist the answer to? The back would have a space for a comment or URL so that the card is more than a mini flyer and more an example and rmeinder of how my advise was valuable.
