Glamorous Bugatti Aerolithe Concept from Douglas Hogg

This stunning Bugatti Aerolithe concept was created by 22 years old designer Douglas Hogg for his final project at Coventry University. This futuristic exclusive sportscar was inspired by a legendary vehicle showcased at the 1935 Paris Motor Show – Bugatti Electron Aerolithe.
The design of the Aerolithe Concept reinterprets in a modern way some of the styling cues of the original Aerolithe, such as the pronounced shoulders, the split windshield and rear window, the aeronautical-inspired doors and the trademark grille.
The doors take part of the dashboard. They open open upwards and forward to add drama to getting in and out gives easy access to the interior. The proposed drivetrain for the Aerolithe concept is an advanced gas turbine-electric hybrid system. The electric motor, which drives the rear wheels, offers up 450 horsepower.
