French artist Philippe Pasqua has recently unveiled this model of “Ferrari F430” whose body was completely covered with leather and then tattooed by him. The leatherwork looks to be absolutely flawless; one can only imagine how difficult it was to wrap the mirrors and tuck around the lights. The applied coloration is fantastically grotesque in the high-art sense of the term, mixing Japanese motifs of seas and serpents with Pasqua’s signature skulls.

“It is a total installation that transforms the machine into a desirable body. It is an allegory that combines speed and immobility, the mechanical and the organic, extreme danger and pure sensuality”.
