Artist Sean Yoro otherwise known as Hula has painted murals of women on concrete walls along water that appear to be emerging from the water. At the first glance, these paintings may be mistaken as actual women bathing. So detailed and vivid, it’s interesting to see how these murals interact with the surroundings.
The artist made these acrylic paints from his paddle floating on the water. All the murals are painted at water level on concrete walls. Some of the female body, heads or shoulders are shown, but the rest seemingly exists underwater. The women reflect on the water surface in the most wonderful ways, the mirroring effect allowing the whole portraits true to life.
