French street artist Charles Leval (aka Levalet) is pasting up Paris with highly original artwork that interacts with the street itself. He uses the streets of Paris as his canvas. His work is imbued with plenty of wit and humor, turning the cityscape into a environment full of surprises where before there was just a building.
Levalet wanders around Paris taking measurements to find the perfect spots for his works. He then draw his figures in black ink and inserts them around the city. His pastings add an element of fun to the urban environment. Each location is suddenly yet seamlessly turned into the site of an atypical art venue featuring Levalet’s amusing works. Each piece is unique and immerses itself into the landscape, making living in the city a more enriching experience.
