Vietnamese origami artist Hoang Tien Quyet started wet folding designs after years of making dry folding origami. He learnt a lot and got inspirations from his beloved masters then created the technique known as wet-folding, which should dampens each piece of paper before skillfully folding them into envisioned models.

Hoang Tien Quyet loves designing animals, and likes to present details as well as personify them. Wet folding helps him to achieve softness in the models, adding an element of sculpture to the work, and making Hoang’s origami animals truly vividly instead of geometrical.
