PET bottles are common plastic bottles in which most soft drinks are sold. Most people associate them with pollution for they do not degrade in nature. This means they have to be collected and recycled.
Czech artist Veronika Richterová recycles these plastic bottles into vegetal and animal sculptures by use of heat to twist, turn and cut up the bottles. She recreates with talent different flowers and creatures.
Richterova inspires viewers to reconsider the waste they put into the environment and find creative, new uses of their discarded items. May we find solutions for the disacrded and make them useful, restoring a clean and delicate Earth.
