Banksy, as a world-famous graffiti artist, is really mysterious. Why? His art has spread to numerous cities around the world and inspires the whole fashion world, while there is substantial public uncertainty about his identity and personal and biographical details. He is believed to be a native of Yate, South Gloucestershire, near Bristol and to have been born in 1974. It is said that he is first trained as a butcher, and then becomes part of the graffiti scene during the boom of aerosols in the late 80s.

Banksy’s outdoor graffiti work is hyper-realistic and often has satirical political, ethical or social themes. The works often feature rats, children or figures of the establishment and have ‘anti’ themes as anti-establishment, anti-war, anti-capitalist etc. His art is thought by some councils as smear for the art, but usually win more respect from the public.
